Lynn F. McConnell graduated from Randolph-Macon Woman’s College in 1985 and from Wake Forest University Law School in 1988. She moved to Fairhope from New Orleans in 1994 and began her solo family law practice in 2006 once her youngest child entered school. She associated as Of Counsel with the firm in the fall of 2023 after working with the Colemans as colleagues for many years. Lynn has four adult children and she and her husband, James Vincent McConnell, III, enjoy their four grandsons, who all fortunately reside nearby.
Lynn conducts mediation of initial and post-judgment domestic relations and custody matters after completion of specific training in divorce, family, and domestic violence issues. She was recently certified as an appellate mediator. She is frequently appointed by the judges to act as a guardian ad litem where it is appropriate to have an advocate dedicated to a child’s best interest, as her passion is to provide a voice to the children who find themselves the subject of a court proceeding through no fault of their own.
Lynn is registered with the Alabama Center for Dispute Resolution, and she currently serves as Secretary and Chairperson of the Domestic Relations Committee for the Baldwin County Bar Association.
Mary Beth Mantiply grew up in Baldwin and Mobile Counties, graduating from Bishop Toolen High School and then Spring Hill College. After obtaining her law degree from the University of Alabama, she returned to practice law in Southern Alabama. This is where her roots are—roots that form the basis of a career and legal practice representing the community of Southern Alabama—her home.
Early in her career, Mary Beth practiced law in a firm of highly competent lawyers who primarily represented large insurance companies. There she learned from some of the best and brightest in the legal profession about how to prepare and try a case. She also saw what it meant to represent the little guy against big corporate interests and how it's often the little guy who gets lost in the legal battle. On occasion, the “little guy” was a good-sized local business, but when litigating with a multinational corporation or insurance company, they were still the little guy in comparison. These experiences helped her realize that she did not want to work for faceless corporations in far-away places; rather, her vision was to represent the local businesses and people she knew and grew up with. And so, in 1987, she opened her own law office, handling local legal issues in almost every area of civil practice—civil trials, appeals, business practice, probate, real estate, insurance issues, and environmental.
Mary Beth’s career and legal passion have been shaped by several tragedies that occurred over the years. She personally witnessed the life-altering impacts that globally produced and distributed defective products, drugs, and devices can have on families, friends, and neighbors. Lives were forever altered when a loved one became a quadriplegic due to a defectively designed GM van, when another died due to a defective dialysis solution, and when three members of a local family died of hypothermia when their boat sank due to a defective drain plate system. These and more cases prompted her to realize that she must also practice law beyond just the borders of Alabama to best serve her clients and obtain justice against those causing injuries and damage—no matter how far-reaching the cause might be. Her practice today still serves individuals and businesses with local issues, some of whom have been loyal clients for over 30 years. In addition, she has been involved in litigation in jurisdictions across the country for the past ten years.
Mary Beth’s philosophy about client-attorney relationships is deeply rooted in community. Often, the adverse party is represented by a veritable stable of lawyers and the amount of travel and documentary evidence makes it mandatory that other lawyers be enlisted to assist. In addition to Mary Beth, there are now two highly respected and experienced lawyers practicing in her Daphne office. She also maintains professional relationships with firms across the country that have similar values and points of view. Whether independently representing a client or teaming with other lawyers with specific expertise, her philosophy is to always put forth the very best efforts to represent her clients and obtain justice.
In her words, "Making a positive difference in my clients’ lives will always be my first and foremost goal."
Adele Mantiply graduated magna cum laude from the University of Alabama in 2016. She went on to receive her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Alabama School of Law in 2019.

During her time in law school, she clerked for numerous plaintiff firms, where she gained invaluable experience helping injured plaintiffs.
She is admitted to practice law in the state of Alabama. Adele loves to spend time with her family, especially her baby girl, in her spare time.
